Updating our story written in Green.

Our story begins in the fall of 1999 when friends became soul mates (i know it sounds corny, but it's true). If you ask any of our friends they'd tell you that they would have never thought of us being together. I think some even made bets on how long our marriage would last; I guess we proved them wrong. We were married May 19, 2002. Which in just a few short months we will celebrating our 10 year anniversary.

When Jennifer's mother passed away in 2000 she had an opportunity to go to college, which she never thought would happen. So with the financial support of her mother's company she started studying Interior Architecture (iarc) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. iarc was her life, a place where she grew confidence and gained many lasting friendships. (sometimes i miss it, well... except for the all nighters).

In 2004 (4th year)
Jennifer found out she was expecting and on february 2, 2005 (ground hogs day) Madison Kaye changed our lives forever. Jennifer took a year off from departmental studios and worked on other general ed classes as well as as being a teaching assistant for many iarc classes. Finally Jennifer graduated in may 2007. While Jennifer was in school Vic was working as a truck driver traveling all over the country. He enjoyed the freedom of the road but was glad give it up in october 2006. After graduation we moved to Baltimore where Jennifer got a job with Gensler Architecture, Design & Planning Worldwide and Vic was working for ATI Performance Products building parts for drag race cars. Anyone who know Vic knows he loves drag racing. (now if I'd only let him drive one). But, after 6 months Jennifer's grandparents got really sick and her father passed away very suddenly. We knew that we needed to be HOME! So in November we back to the old 'boro. Jennifer's company has been so gracious to allow her to work from home part time and Vic will be starting school at the end of March (Hedgecock Racing Academy) And, as for Madison she is a bubbly 3 year old who always knows how to make you laugh.

It sure has been awhile since i've updated "our story". Lets see if i can make it easy for you...


April 2008 ~ found out we were expecting baby #2
Aug 2008 ~ moved to Belmont, NC (expecting a transfer to the Charlotte office)
                 ~ two weeks after the move I had my Gall Bladder removed (20 weeks pregnant)
Oct 2008 ~ the economy tanked, i was informed that after i had emma i would no longer have a job. 
Dec 2008 ~ Emma Rose was born
April 2009 ~ started working with Michelle on Six Chicks Designs... finally feeling like i have a purpose again.
Aug 2009 ~ Madison starts Pre-Kindergarten
Dec 2009 ~ Emma turns ONE

October 2010 ~ we find out we are expecting baby #3
Dec 2010 ~ Vic got the opportunity to transfer his job back "home" to Greensboro
Jan 2011 ~ Moved to our temporary home in Trinity.  House hunting in GSO starts
Mar 2011 ~ Close on NEW house
April 2011 ~ move into new house
July 2011 ~ William Chase was born!! After a horrible pregnancy!!
Aug 2011 ~ Madison starts 1st Grade
Sept 2011 ~ Emma starts preschool


A lot has happened in 4 years. 


most importantly i LOVE my family!!
